The Manor House is a carefully preserved heritage home that carries the story of the farm. It is also our home, a lived-in place, cared for daily, where we often welcome guests for tours, wine tastings, and to share in the farm’s harvest. For this reason, the Manor House is reserved for weddings and exclusive full-farm bookings, when guests take over Eikehof in its entirety.
Built in 1791 and completed in 1841, the Manor House is a Heritage home and the historic heart of Eikehof. Original yellowwood floors, thick walls, and high ceilings speak to its age and enduring presence. The house has been restored with restraint, honouring its Cape Dutch character while allowing for modern comforts, including solar power, a carefully updated kitchen, and an outdoor area designed for long, unhurried gatherings, with a braai and wood-fired hot tub.
