Eikehof presents the promise of a wedding experience that is nothing short of breathtaking. Our venue boasts scenic mountain views and an atmosphere of elegance in every direction. Choose from a litany of picturesque ceremony locations, where whether you wish to be surrounded by the tranquility of the blue gum forest or framed by the dramatic Olifantsberg mountain as you exchange your vows your wedding day will be an absolute vision of beauty.
On the day of your wedding you and your guests will be granted exclusive access to the entire farm. The Manor House and four en-suite cottages can comfortably accommodate up to 16 overnight guests, providing an intimate setting for wedding parties and events of up to 80 people. Our lavishly manicured lawns, lush gardens and outdoor spaces are perfectly suited for a reception.

Is there a restaurant on site?
While we do not have a restaurant or wedding catering on site we have a recently renovated catering kitchen available to all outside caterers. The kitchen, located in the Manor House runs on solar to ensure a seamless wedding day without the disruptions of load shedding. Upon request we can provide a list of our recommended caterers and vendors.
What is included in your wedding packages?
We offer a two night or three night package, accommodations for up to 16 of your closest friends and family members, and the venue hire fee is included. Also included is house keeping and a venue coordinator.
How far are you from Cape Town?
Eikehof is conveniently located just 90 minutes from Cape Town in the Breede River Valley. The drive is absolutely stunning!
Are there additional guest accommodations in the area?
The Breede River Valley is full of guest farms, in our package PDF (available for download here) we provide an extensive list of additional accommodations in the area to be shared with your wedding guests. Also included are the names of two shuttle services.
Do you require a damage deposit?
Yes, a damage deposit of R50,000 is required at the time of booking. This amount will be refunded in full within 7-10 days after check out assuming no damages occur.
Is a wedding planner mandatory?

Eikehof is a unique venue ideally suited for more intimate weddings and events for 80 guests. Going beyond this number is not recommended and is subject to a surcharge.
Do you have an indoor space in case of inclement weather?
We have a beautiful new barn that can be used for an additional fee, best suited for more intimate groups of 40 or less.
Where do you host the ceremony and reception?
Part of the appeal of Eikehof is that you have the freedom of choosing from a variety of locations and can personalize your wedding day. We have the barn, the exterior of the manor, the Blue gum forest and Oude School House garden as well as the clearing in front of the mountain to choose from!
