In the heart of the Breede River Valley, Eikehof Farm is a living piece of history, surrounded by nature’s timeless beauty. At the center of it all is our Manor House, a historic gem that began its story in 1791 and was completed in 1841. Built in the classic Cape Dutch style, it features original Yellow Wood and Oregon floors, thick stone walls, and high ceilings that bring a sense of warmth and history to the space.
Alongside the Manor House, we offer four cozy cottages, each thoughtfully furnished to blend comfort with old-world charm. As you explore our 128-hectare estate, you’ll find lush gardens, stunning panoramic mountain views, and our thriving organic vegetable garden.
The farm is home to over 1,200 fruit trees, including citrus and olives, a small Pinotage vineyard, and a tranquil Blue Gum forest, offering an authentic slice of farm life. Adding to the charm, the property is alive with friendly farm animals, including chickens, turkeys, and our cherished donkeys, Sebastian and Lu Lu, who are always a favorite with visitors.
During harvest season, guests can indulge in a delightful farm-to-table experience. This includes freshly picked produce, homemade olive oil, farm-fresh eggs, and organic fruit straight from the trees scattered across the property—a true celebration of the farm's abundant bounty.

Kindly be advised that Eikehof is a fully operational working farm, where we proudly produce limited batches of Pinotage, olive oil, and honey. Additionally, it is a home to our beloved farm animals.
