In the picturesque Breede River Valley, Eikehof Farm stands as a National Monument, a testament to the passage of time and the enduring beauty of nature. The name Eikehof, which translates to “Oak Court,” pays homage to the ancient oak trees that have graced our soil for centuries. The heart of our farm is the Manor House, a historical treasure that began its journey in 1791 and was lovingly completed in 1841. Built in the timeless Cape Dutch style, this magnificent structure features original Yellow Wood and Oregon floors, substantial walls, and lofty ceilings that exude a sense of history and charm. The Manor House, along with its four charming ensuite cottages, is adorned with classic furnishings, offering an atmosphere of old-world comfort.
As you explore our expansive 128-hectare estate, you’ll wander through lush gardens, pergolas draped in vibrant Bougainvilleas, and a thriving organic vegetable garden. Our grounds are graced with over 1200 fruit bearing trees, including citrus and olive groves, a Pinotage vineyard, and a captivating Blue Gum forest.

Kindly be advised that Eikehof is a fully operational working farm, where we proudly produce limited batches of Pinotage, olive oil, and honey. Additionally, it is a home to our beloved farm animals.
